आज चन्द्र ग्रहण है आया,
खगोलशास्त्रीयों के मन में है हर्ष समाया,
डेढ़ सौ साल बाद है यह मौका आया,
लाल चांद को पृथ्वी ने है ग्रास बनाया,
ज्योतिषियों ने है जाल बिछाया,
शुभ अशुभ कह कर सबको है डराया,
सड़कों पर पसरा सन्नाटा,
जिसको देखो वह है घर भागा,
ग्रहण का है सबने हउआ बनाया,
पंडितों ने है खूब कमाया,
सारा दान-धान उनके है घर आया,
देखो कैसा खेल रचाया,
खगोल प्रेमियों और रूढ़िवादीओं में है द्वंद मचाया,
दो सोच वालों ने है दंगल का दांव लगाया।
क्योंकि आज चंद्र ग्रहण है आया
