Na jaane kyon zindagi khafa khafa si lag rahi hai,
lagta hai in dino kisi ki yaad mujhe sata rahi hai,
hai nahi jo use hi pane ki dil koshish kar raha,
ye dil fir se usi ke koi naye khaab hai bun raha,
kho gai hai jisaki yadein kahin varshon pahale,
ab is zindagi ke nai mod mein kyon hai usaki nishani milate,
na jaane kyon bekhabar meri ratein hain ho rahi,
aajkal usake intezar mein mujh se meri sansein hain juda ho rahi.
न जाने क्यों
न जाने क्यों जिंदगी खफा खफा सी है लग रही,लगता है इन दिनों किसी की याद मुझे सता रही,
है नहीं जो उसे ही पाने की दिल कोशिश कर रहा,
ये दिल फिर से उसी के कोई नई खाब है बुन रहा,
खो गई है जिसकी यादें कहीं वर्षो पहले,
अब इस जिंदगी के नई मोड़ में क्यों है उसकी निशानी मिलते,
न जाने क्यों बेखबर मेरी राते हैं हो रही,
आजकल उसके इन्तजार में मुझ से मेरी सांसे हैं जुदा हो रही ...
